Our Hotel

An Urban Resort and the Gateway to Toronto, the Toronto Don Valley Hotel & Suites provides affordable accommodations near the Don Valley Parkway and Scarborough.

Our Story

Visionaries of the 1960s dreamed of developing the sprawling farmland of Don Mills, located just north of downtown Toronto, into the city's playground.

Following the success of legendary Isidor Sharp's first Four Seasons hotel, built in Don Mills in 1963, the famous Toronto-based architect Raymond Moriyama was contracted to build what is now Toronto Don Valley Hotel & Suites on one of the most sought after pieces of land in the area.

Backing onto a ravine and overlooking all of Don Valley, the picturesque setting presented the opportunity to create one of the Greater Toronto Area's premiere properties, which would become a hideaway for those looking to escape the hustle of the downtown core.

It is as if Moriyama's vision was to bring the natural beauty of the exterior grounds into the sprawling hotel, which features bright open spaces with natural light beaming in and stunning views of the verdant scenery that surrounds the property. Large floor-to-ceiling windows, balconies, indoor and outdoor pools and other resort-style amenities were also added, creating a space capable of offering an unparalleled guest experience and an idyllic setting for family vacations, rejuvenating getaways, corporate meetings or weddings.

Our 100% smoke-free hotel in North York, Toronto is conveniently located within reach of downtown Toronto, a myriad of shops and restaurants, and top local attractions, including Ontario Science Centre, Aga Khan Museum, Ripley's Aquarium of Canada, CN Tower, and Toronto Botanical Gardens.
